fine 8d at this court came Robt Baker and Joan his wife which Joan held with Jn Haveringe now dead and their heirs one tenement with appurtenances called Mordens and the said Joan solely and secretly examined by the steward and agreeing surrendered into the hands of the lord the said tenement with appurtenances with the intention that the lord so seised should redeliver the same to the said Robt Baker and Joan his wife and their heirs and assigns the lord by virtue of the surrender and seisin in the said court by his steward of his special grace granted out of his hands the said tenement with appurtenances aforesaid to Robt Baker and Joan his wife to hold to their heirs of the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor etc and they give the lord the fine etc
