| Halberne Cottage | fine 2s to this court came Jn Reynham and Isabel his wife and the said Isabel alone and secretly examined by the lord's steward confessed and surrendered into the hands of the lord the king one cottage with a garden adjoining customary and the appurtenances called Halberne situate and lying in Colne aforesaid near the churchyard of the parish church of Colne aforesaid to the use of Chas Payne and Sibil his wife their heirs and assigns to whom there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to them and their heirs of the lord the king by the rod to the will etc and they give the lord the king for fine and made fealty |
