so seised surrendered into the lord's hands the foresaid messuage and parcel of land with the appurtenances to the use of

late wife of the foresaid

and their heirs to the use of the aforesaid

to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to them and their heirs of the lord by the rod to the will etc according to the custom of the manor by the ancient rents and services and they give fine and made fealty
