fine 2s to this court came Hen Polein who had estate jointly with Margt late his wife and Jn Eire late prior of the priory of Colne now deceased to them and their heirs of and in one tenement with a garden adjoining and one barn with the appurtenances and of and in one croft of land with the appurtenances late parcel of Lowfield late Jn Peniles and surrendered into the lord's hands the said tenement with the garden adjoining the barn and croft of land aforesaid to the intent that the lord of his special grace might regrant the said tenement garden barn and croft with the appurtenances to the foresaid Hen Polein and Maud his wife and their heirs and the lord by virtue of the surrender aforesaid in the premises seised at this present court by his steward regranted out of his hands the said tenement garden barn and croft with the appurtenances to the aforesaid Hen Polein and Maud his wife and their heirs to whom by the lord's steward there in seisin thereof delivered to hold to them and their heirs of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the ancient rents and services etc and they give to the lord for fine and made fealty
