at this court came Roger Morecock and Isabel his wife the same Isabel solely and secretly examined by the steward and surrendered into the hands of the lord one customary tenement with appurtenances lying next to Tollehowsegrene called Wallers and one parcel of customary land belonging and adjoining the tenement containing in length 3rods and a half and in breadth 3rods2ft of assize as by metes and bounds etc to the use of Jn Rayner and Margt his wife their heirs and assigns who present in court came and petitioned admittance and the steward delivered seisin to hold to themselves and their heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod etc and they gave the lord for fine and made fealty but the surrender and seisin was delivered on the condition that they pay Roger Morecock or his certain attorney or executor at the feast of the nativity of st mary the virgin next after the date of this court 50s sterling on penalty of reentry etc fine 12d
