the homage present that the prior of Colne Priory and the convent of the same place have given and letten to farm by copy to Jn Carter a certain parcel of land called Tilekilneyard for term of twenty years which is parcel of the demesne lands of this manor by what title or authority the homage is altogether ignorant therefore the bailiff charged to warn the said prior to talk with the lord and his council before the feast of michaelmas.next or else to seize etc
