Rushmeddow | fine 4s it is found by the homage that Agnes Hunte widow late the wife of Thos Hunte deceased which held to her and her assigns during the term of her life of the lord as of this manor by the rod etc one piece or pasture of customary land with the appurtenances and one customary meadow with the appurtenances called Rishmeddowe containing in the whole 16a of land or more etc to remain after her decease to Eliz Hunte singlewoman daughter of the foresaid Thos and Agnes and her heirs as in the leet with the court here holden on tuesday in the week of pentecost in the 18Hen8 22.5.1526 more at large appeareth the foresaid Agnes died since the last court of such estate seised by reason of whose death the premises with the appurtenances ought to remain to the foresaid Eliz and her heirs and hereupon to this court came the foresaid Eliz and craved to be admitted to the premises by reason of the remainder aforesaid and because it is so found by the homage that the foresaid Agnes is deceased and appeareth by the foresaid court roll that the premises ought to remain to the foresaid Eliz the refore the foresaid Eliz is admitted the lord's tenant to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to her and her heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor and she giveth fine and made fealty |
