Roger Hitchcock
out of the court and since the last court lying on his death bed surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of
Jn Estaie
one of the lord's tenants in the presence of
Thos Roote
likewise the lord's tenant and other the same witnessing one messuage with the appurtenances called
Sebrights
to the use of
Maud
his wife during all the term of her life to remain after the decease of the foresaid

to one
Thos Roote
executor of the last will of the said
Roger Hitchcock
deceased and his heirs to sell and the money thereof coming to be divided equally between the said children of the said
Roger
and if it shall happen the children of the said
Roger
to die the said
Maud
yet living that then the money coming of the sale of the foresaid messuage with the appurtenances shall be delivered to the wardens of the parish church of Earls Colne to support the necessary reparations of the said church etc which
Maud
being present in the court came and craved to be admitted thereunto and because it is so found by the homage therefore she is admitted the lord's tenant to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to her and her assigns during all the term of her life of the lord by the rod to the will etc to remain as above etc and she giveth fine etc and made fealty
