out of the court and since the last court surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of

one of the lord's tenants in the presence of
Rich Garrard
likewise one of the lord's tenants and other the same witnessing one messuage with the appurtenances called
Masons
lying between the churchyard of Earls Colne aforesaid and the highway leading from Colne aforesaid toward Halsted on the north part as by the metes and bounds etc to the use and behoof of
Wm Olmested
his heirs and assigns which

being present in the court came and craved himself and

his wife be admitted thereunto and because it is so found out by the homage therefore they are admitted the lord's tenants thereof to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to them and the heirs and assigns of the said

of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor etc and they give fine etc and made fealty
