a cottage sometime Lavenham's Xfine 12d it is found by the homage that Robt Upcher of Great Tay out of the court and since the last court surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of Thos Veer gentleman one of the lord's tenants in the presence of Jn Estaie likewise the lord's tenant and other the same witnessing one cottage with a garden adjoining and sometime Jn Lavenham's after Robt Gernors and late Agnes Riddesdale widow deceased to the use and behoof of Lewis Jegon his heirs and assigns who being present in the court came and craved to be admitted thereunto and he is admitted the lord's tenant thereof to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor and he giveth fine etc and made fealty
