out of the court and since the last court lying on his death bed surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of

one of the lord's tenants in the presence of

likewise one of the lord's tenants and other the same witnessing one tenement with the appurtenances called
Mordens
to the use and behoof of
Alice
his wife during all the term of her life to remain after her decease to
Wm Layer
son of the foresaid
Hen
and his heirs on condition that the foresaid

immediately after the death of the foresaid

his mother shall pay or cause to be paid to
Hen Layer
his brother son of the foresaid

by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to her and her assigns during the term of her life of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor to remain after her decease to the foresaid
