and surrendered into the lord's hands one cottage with a garden adjoining and the appurtenances called
Clovyers
situate and lying in Colne aforesaid as by the metes and bounds etc to the use and behoof of
Jn Prentice
his heirs and assigns who being present in the court came and craved to be admitted thereunto and he is admitted the lord's tenant thereof to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod etc and he giveth fine etc and made fealty always provided that if the foresaid

his heirs or assigns pay or cause to be paid to the foresaid
Jn Prentice
or his certain attorney or executor 5li sterling within two years next after the date of this court that then this present surrender and seisin the reof delivered shall be void and of no force
