esq the lord's surveyor granted out of his hands to

lying in Colne aforesaid viz between the tenement of

widow on the west part and the land sometime

and now

on the east part one head thereof abutting upon the highway there toward the south and the other head thereof abutting upon the tenement of

toward the north as etc to hold to the same

his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor yielding th erefore yearly to the lord and his heirs lord's of this manor 20d sterling of yearly rent at two usual terms of the manor viz at the feast of st michael the archangel and the annunciation of blessed marie the virgin by equal portions to be paid and suit to the court according to the custom of the manor to which
