Cocks fine 3s it is found as well by Jn Churche the lord's steward as by the homage that Jn Moodie and Merell his wife and the same Merell alone and secretly by the said steward examined out of the court and since the last court surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of the said steward in the presence of Hen Pullen one of the lord's tenants and other the same witnessing one cottage with a garden adjoining and the appurtenances sometime Cock's and after Jn Ridnale's deceased as etc to the use and behoof of Rich Halle and Alice his wife their heirs and assigns who being present in the court came and craved to be admitted thereunto and they are admitted the lord's tenant thereof to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to them their heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor and they give fine and made fealty
