Frances Xfine 12d it is found by the homage that Mary late the wife of Thos Derynge deceased which held to her her heirs and assigns of the lord as of this manor by the rod etc one cottage with a garden adjoining and the appurtenances called Frances as etc died since the last court of and in the foresaid cottage with the garden adjoining and their appurtenances sole seised in her demesne as of fee according to the custom of the manor and they say further that Jn Sparrowe being of full age is the brother of the said Mary deceased and next heir thereof and hath right to the foresaid cottage and other the premises with the appurtenances who being present in the court came and craved to be admitted thereunto and because it is so found out by the homage therefore he is admitted the lord's tenant thereof to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor and he giveth fine and made fealty
