at this court cometh Rich Cocke of Litle Stambridge in the county of Essex Jn Ekford of Canyngdon in the same county and Jn Mychell of the same town and county (Canyngdon Essex) and being sworn and examined severally say and depose upon their several oaths that one Nich Cherche of Prytlewell in the said county of Essex is next heir unto Agnes Rogers daughter and heir unto Jn Rogers whereupon my lord's pleasure and order is for as much as divers persons pretend title unto the lands late the said Agnes Rogers that the admission of the said Nich Cherche shall be stayed fourteen days next and immediately following this present court and if there be no manner of person that can prove himself to have a better title unto it that then after the said fourteen days ended the same Nich Cherche to be admitted unto it to hold to him his heirs and assigns according to the custom of the manor
