widow late the wife of

gentleman deceased and surrendered into the lord's hands one tenement customary with the appurtenances situate and lying in Colne aforesaid which sometime was in the tenure of
Robt Stephens
and late in the tenure of
Wm Clarke
now called
Hobestevens
as etc to the intent that the lord being thereof so seised might regrant the said tenement with the appurtenances to the foresaid

to hold to her and her assigns during the whole term of her life to remain after her decease to
Wm Ashefield
her son and his heirs and the lord by force of the surrender aforesaid in the foresaid tenement with the appurtenances being so seised regranted out of his hand the foresaid tenement with the appurtenances to the foresaid

to hold to her and her assigns during the whole term of her life of the lord by the rod etc to remain after her decease to the foresaid

and his heirs to which

by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to her and her assigns during the whole term of her life of the lord by the rod etc to remain after her decease to the foresaid
