3s4d it is found by the homage that Rich Hall out of the court and since the last court lying upon his death bed surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of Rich Ennowes one of the lord's tenants in the presence of Jn Game likewise the lord's tenant and others the same witnessing one cottage with a garden adjoining called Cocks sometime Jn Ridnale's deceased lying in Earls Colne aforesaid as etc to the use and behoof of Alice his wife and her assigns during the whole term of her life to remain after her decease to one Geo Hall son of the foresaid Rich and the heirs of his body lawfully begotten and for default of such issue to remain after his decease to one Edw Hall another son of the foresaid Rich and the heirs of his body lawfully begotten and for default of such issue to remain after to the right heirs of the said Rich now at this court it is found by the homage that the foresaid Alice died since the last court of such estate seised and hereupon to this court came the foresaid Geo and prayeth to be admitted to the foresaid lands and tenements with appurtenances by force of the remainder aforesaid and because it is so found by the homage therefore he is admitted the lord's tenant thereof to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him and his heirs of his body lawfully begotten and for default of such issue to remain to the foresaid Edw Hall and the heirs of his body lawfully begotten and for default of such issue to remain to the right heirs of the said Rich and his heirs of the lord by the rod etc and he giveth fine etc and made fealty
