fine 16d the fourth part of a tenement sometime Reyner it is found and certified as well by Jn Church the steward as by the homage that on sunday 21.9.2Eliz1 (sic) at Maldon in the county of Essex there came before the foresaid Jn Church the steward of the honourable man the lord Jn de Veer earl of Oxford etc of the manor aforesaid Robt Sparrowe and Margt his wife and the same Margt alone and secretly examined by the lord's steward surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of the foresaid steward in the presence of Xoph Pennocke one of the lord's tenants four parts of one customary tenement with appurtenances sometime in the tenure of Jn Reyner and Agnes his wife late the wife of Robt Huddisson deceased to the use and behoof of Thos Marshe his heirs and assigns who being present in the court came and craved to be admitted thereunto and because it is found and certified therefore he is admitted the lord's tenant thereof to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord etc and he giveth fine etc and made fealty
