it is found by the homage that

that held to him and his heirs of the lord as of this manor by the rod etc the remainder of one customary tenement with appurtenances lying and being in Colne aforesaid which sometimes was in the tenure of
Robt Stephens
and late in the tenure of
Wm Clerke
and now in the tenure of
Ann Ashefield
widow when it shall happen by and after the death of the foresaid

widow as in the leet with the court there holden on
tuesday in the week of pentecost second and third 26.5.2PhM
more at large appears died since the last court of such estate sole seised and they say further that

is the next heir thereunto and because it is so found by the homage therefore he is admitted the lord's tenant thereof to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod when it shall happen by and after the death of the foresaid
