| fine 16d The Taverne | it is found by the homage that Nich Game out of the court and since the last court surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of Nich Garrard Jn Culverton and Thos Turnor the lord's tenants and others the same witnessing one cottage called The Taverne with a sollar thereupon builded and one shop with appurtenances as they are situate in Colne aforesaid viz between the maypole and the church gate as etc to the use and behoof of Thos Allen and his heirs and assigns who being present in the court came and prayed to be admitted thereunto and because it is so found by the homage therefore he is admitted the lord's tenant thereof to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod etc and he giveth fine etc and made fealty |
