fine for term 3s4d fine for the remainder 3s4d Joldens it is found by the homage that Nich Garrard lying upon his death bed out of the court and since the last court surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of Rich Ennowes instead of the bailiff in the presence of Adam Polley and Robt Peerson the lord's customary tenants and others the same witnessing one messuage with a barn and garden adjoining customary with appurtenances called Joldens lying in Colne aforesaid as by the meets and bounds more plainly it is divided and shown to the use and behoof of Alice Garrard da ughter of the foresaid Nich for term of ten years the said term beginning at the feast of the purification 2.2.last past before the title of this court and after the said ten years ended to remain to Greg Garrard son of the foresaid Nich his heirs and assigns which Alice and Greg being present in the court came and prayed to be admitted thereunto and they are admitted the lord's tenants thereof to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to the foresaid Alice and her assigns during all the term of ten years the remainder after to the foresaid Greg and his heirs and assigns of the lo rd by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the rents and services therefore due and of right accustomed and they give fine etc and made fealty
