| fine 5s Warkmans | to this court came Jn Chatterton and surrendered into the lord's hands the reversion of one croft of land called Warkemans of new enclosed containing 3a21p of land lying between the land called Warkemans late in the tenure of Thos Rolte by copy of court roll toward the east and the land of Jn Wingfield toward the west one head thereof abutting upon the land late Jn Estaies called Litle Borrowes and the land late Thos Rolt's toward the north when it shall happen by and after the death of Thos Cawche now tenant thereof for term of his life to the use and behoof of Rich Rolte his heirs and assigns who being present in the court came and prayed to be admitted thereunto and he is admitted the lord's tenant thereof to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the rents and services therefore due and of right accustomed and he giveth fine etc and made fealty |
