fine 4swhereas Wm Finche holdeth to him and his assigns during the whole term of his life one cottage with a garden adjoining and the appurtenances called Clovyers and also three crofts of customary land with the appurtenances called Pettiscrofts the remainder after his decease to one Hen Finche his heirs and assigns as appears by copy of court roll bearing date tuesday in the week of pentecost 16.5.1Eliz1 the foresaid Hen died since the last court of and in the foresaid remainder of the foresaid tenement and other the premises with appurtenances sole seised in his demesne as of fee according to the custom of the manor and they say further that Wm Finch the younger his brother is of full age and next heir and hath right unto the remainder aforesaid to which Wm by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered by the lord's steward to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod at the will of the lord and he giveth fine and made fealty and is admitted the lord's tenant
