fine 11sit is found by the homage that Jn Pennocke and Geo Pennocke out of the court and since the last court surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of Robt Peerson in the presence of Jn Sparrowe and Jn Parker the lord's tenants the same witnessing one tenement with lands to the same belonging with appurtenances called Stacyes otherwise John Adams containing by estimation 15a of land as by the meets and bounds etc to the use and behoof of Hen Somersham his heirs and assigns etc on condition following viz that the foresaid Hen Somersham or his certain attorney his executors or administrators pay or cause to be paid or any of them pay or cause to be paid to the foresaid Jn Pennocke his executors or administrators at the now dwelling house of the foresaid Jn Pennocke situate lying and being in Colne aforesaid half a quarter of wheat and 11li13s4d of good and lawful money of England in manner and form following viz at xmas.next following the half quarter of wheat and at annunciation.1569 11s of good and lawful money etc and so from year to year at the said feasts of the annunciation and michaelmas 11s until the said sum of 11li13s4d and every parcel thereof be fully paid and satisfied unto the said Jn his executors and administrators whereupon to this court came the foresaid Hen Somersham and according to the surrender aforesaid prayed to be admitted in form aforesaid to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the rents and services therefore before due and of right accustomed and he giveth fine etc and made fealty and he is admitted the lord's tenant thereof
