fine 40sit is found by the homage that at the court here holden on tuesday in the week of pentecost 15.5.1Mary1 Jn Game the lord's customary tenant surrendered into the lord's hands one piece of land containing by estimation 18a of land more or less parcel of one piece of land called Bettingsland to the use of Margt his wife and her assigns during the whole term of her life to remain after her decease to Jas Game and Nich Game sons of the foresaid Jn and their heirs and at this court it is found that the foresaid Margt and Jas Game are dead and they say that Nich Game by reason of the remainder hath right to the premises who being present in the court came and prayed to be admitted thereunto to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the rents etc and he giveth fine etc and made fealty and is admitted the lord's tenant
