fine 12dit is found by the homage that Wm Fisher that held to him and his heirs of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor 1a of customary land or more or less lying in Longland late Thos Potter's (Thos Porter ) late parcel of the tenement called Goold alias Cowleys as by the meets and bounds etc died so thereof seised and they say that Wm Fisher is his son and next heir and hath right to the premises who being present in the court came and prayed to be admitted thereto to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor and he giveth fine and made fealty and is admitted the lord's tenant
