memorandum that at this court as well by the evidence of the steward the surveyor and others the council of Edw Veer earl of Oxford etc as by the consent and agreement of Jn Prentice the elder and Jn Barret it is agreed between and by the said Jn Prentice and Jn Barret that the same Jn Prentice shall make and support necessary convenient and reasonable eving or eves at and upon that side of his house next adjoining situate standing or abutting upon the house or yard of the foresaid Jn Barret and that the foresaid Jn Barret shall make one meet convenient and sufficient gutter under the foresaid eves in manner and form aforesaid made by the foresaid Jn Prentice to convey and carry out all the rain and water falling from the eves aforesaid out of the yard of the foresaid Jn Barret in the street or common highway and that the foresaid Jn Prentice his heirs or assigns shall yearly pay to Jn Barret or his heirs or assigns at michaelmas 3d or good and lawful money of England and that for the foresaid yearly rent of 3d the foresaid Jn Prentice his heirs and assigns forever shall use have and enjoy the eves and gutter aforesaid in manner and form aforesaid and to the use aforesaid
