to this court came Thos Bridge and Ann his wife who held jointly to them and their heirs of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor etc one piece or parcel of pasture customary called Ryshfield and also one customary messuage called Rushemeadow lying and being in Colne aforesaid which both contain in them in the whole by estimation 16a of land be it more or less as etc and the same Ann being alone and secretly examined by the lord's steward confessed and surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of his steward aforesaid the foresaid piece of pasture and the foresaid meadow with their appurtenances as etc to the use and behoof of Robt Pearetree his heirs and assigns which Robt being present in the court came and prayed himself to be admitted thereto to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered by the rod to have and to hold to the same Robt his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the rents and services therefore before due and of right accustomed and he giveth fine as appeareth in the head and made fealty and so he is admitted the lord's tenant thereof
