it was found in the last court with the leet of this year that Margt Prentice Helen Prentice and Joan Prentice took by copy of the surrender of Thos Smithe the son of one Thos Smithe of Colne aforesaid tanner for term of ten years next following after the death of Rich Prentice the remainder thereof after the end of the said term to Albon Prentice and Jn Prentice sons of the said Rich Prentice and their heirs for ever parcel of a certain barn late parcel of the messuage of the said Thos Smithe the father called Morses as the said barn lieth at the east head of the said messuage and late was in the tenure of the said Rich Prentice and it is holden by fealty suit of court and the rent of by the year the admission of the said Albon and Jn Prentice yet remaineth together with their fine for their entry thereon to be had and it was in the court with the leet of 29Eliz1 that the said Margt Helen and Joan took by copy of the surrender of the said Rich Prentice their father two cottages now converted into one and one garden adjoining the said cottages in which the said Rich Prentice did lately dwell lately parcel of a certain capital messuage called Morses then in the tenure of Thos Smithe tanner and it containeth in length 40ft of assize as it lieth at the east end of the said capital messuage one head thereof abutting upon the said capital messuage towards the west and the other head thereof abutting upon a certain tenement and garden then in the tenure of Rich Ennewes called towards the east as they are situate and lie at Colnefordhill in Earls Colne aforesaid to have to them from the day of the death of the said Rich during the term of ten years the remainder thereof after the end of the said term to the said Albon and Jn sons of the said Rich Prentice holden by fealty suit of court and the rent of by the year and the admission of the said Albon and Jn yet remaineth together with the fine for their entry thereon to be had
