it appeareth in the court with the leet of the 26Eliz1 that Jn Ailette the elder acknowledged himself to hold to him and his heirs of the lord as of this manor freely by deed the tenement and lands called Prucknottes with appurtenances in Earls Colne aforesaid by fealty suit of court and rent of 14s3d by the year and being now required came not therefore he is in mercy 4d and the bailiff is charged to summon him to be here at the next court to pay the lord 14s3d for a relief due by the death of his said father
