to the sixth interrogatory this deponent saith that there were speeches given out during the time the said defendant had commission to sell the said lands and hereditaments that the same lands were diversely encumbered as well be reason of extent as also by reason of a yearly tenth issuing out of the same lands to his master and that the same was held for divers years and this deponent verily thinks in his conscience that the same speeches were given out by the said defendant Roger or some others by his permission for otherwise he knows not from whence such report should come
