fifteen that he doth verily believe that the writing in parchment beginning in these words viz Colne Comitis etc and now shown unto this deponent at the time of his examination purporting to be a copy of the rolls of the court baron belonging to the manor of Earls Colne in the county of Essex their held for the said manor the thursday 18.9.31Eliz1 is of the handwriting of one Phil Cocke sometime clerk to one mr Jn Tanner an attorney in his majesties court of kings bench and further saith that the names Cocke and Roger Harlakenden subscribed to the said writing in parchment are of the proper handwriting of the said Phil Cocke and Roger Harlakenden as this deponent verily believeth and this he saith he is induced to believe for that he this deponent was heretofore acquainted with the handwriting of the said Phil Cocke and the said Roger Harlakenden and more etc Simon Ive
