two that he doth very well know the tenement with certain lands thereunto belonging situate in Earls Colne aforesaid called by the name of Curds holden by copy of court roll of the said manor of Earls Colne aforesaid and now in question between the parties to this suit and he hath known the same tenement and lands any time these thirty five years or thereabouts and the occasion of his coming to know that tenement and lands was by reason that he dwelleth a long time with old mr Harlakenden the defendant mr Harlakenden's late father who was lord of the said manor of Earls Colne and that this deponent did use to gather the quit rents for his said master that did belong to the said manor of Earls Colne
