nine that he never had any such conference with the said Rose as is mentioned in this interrogatory only this deponent hath heard the said defendant Rose and her son Jn Cuckoe speak of legacies of 20li apiece given by Jeff Cuckoe her first husband unto every one of her children which she the said Rose had by the said Jeff the said Rose acknowledging the said legacies to be given by the said Jeff unto his and her said children
