Ambrose Sernesey Wetherfield Essex shoemaker 40yr has known Rich Harlakenden for twenty years and knows the mill and lease lives in Colne Engaine and has known Wm Eedies for twenty years says that Eedies had a bond of Shewts# of Saffron Walden that was so ill favouredly blotted and blurred that he wanted to have it rewritten and the same goes for this lease of Colneford Mill which was nearly reprieved recommended a certain Thos Milksopp then living in Sible Hedingham to do the writing Milksopp now lives in Finchingfield (the general tenor of the evidence is that if Eedies had got a good lease he would'nt have kept silent when Harlakenden let the mill to Diglette )
