to the sixteenth question says that Edes did allege to mr Waldgrave that Edes was in lawful possession of the mill by a lease from the earl of Oxford that he did not keep the mill otherwise than was lawful for him to do says that Edes did offer mr Waldgrave that mr Waldgrave should come into the millhouse and see that Edes did not keep it by force and Cobbe says further that Edes did not make the above offer before the time when mr Waldgrave sent the constable of Earls Colne for more men says that upon this offer to mr Waldgrave mr Waldgrave said he would not come into the millhouse alone for fear of some hurt that might be done to him
