to the third he saith that the parsons of Lavenham Suffolk and they who have had the right unto the tithes of the dissolved priory of Colne in Lavenham have oftentimes compounded and agreed for the said tithes belonging to the said dissolved priory that the said parties should take tithes in other places in Lavenham in lieu of the tithes going out of Liverden so as when they receive no tithes in Liverden they did receive others for them in other places and when they did receive or take tithes in Liverden they did not receive tithes in other places to this deponent's knowledge and more to this interrogatory he cannot depose Robt Caston
