office of the judge against Edith Boreham of Earls Colne she was impregnated she appeared on this day and under her oath was examined and confessed that Wm Martyn of the same impregnated her by carnal copulation in the house of Jn Knight on good friday last at the night time he coming thither about ten of the clock in the night and he tarrying there to two in the morning at what time he had to do with her and begat her with child as she believeth etc this confession was made in the presence of Martyn aforesaid who confessed the truth of Boreham's statement
