Wm Stamer deceased of Earls Colne Mary his widow is his administrator appeared mr Jas Thwaites and showed letters dated 27.2.1589 which gave him power to act for her as her procurator he showed the original will of the deceased and stated that at his death the deceased had many debts and obligations and that when these debts had been deducted there was not sufficient to pay all the legal charges and debts and therefore the judge for these reasons and on the petition of Thwaites decreed the goods of the deceased sequestrated and made the said Mary the sequestrator and ordered her to carry out a good sequestration in the person of the said mr Thwaites and ordered them at the first court after the feast of michaelmas next to show an account and letters of sequestration
