office of the judge against Ann Cutin of Earls Colne detected by the wardens for having a base child born of her body and born of Geo Turner as she saith she appeared and said that the detection was true and that Geo Turner of Earls Colne is the only father of her child and that none but he ever had the carnal knowledge of her body she was therefore ordered to undergo public penance in the time of divine service and to certify of this at the next court
