Earls Colne Jn Bysshope of the same in the name of god amen the 13.2.1538 I Jn Bysshope of Earls Colne in the diocese of London whole of mind and of good mind being drawing to the peril of death make ordain and dispose this my present testament and last will in form following first I bequeath my soul to almighty god and to our blessed lady saint mary and my body to be buried in the churchyard of St Andrews in Earls Colne aforesaid also I bequeath to the high altar for my tithes and obligations and other duties by me heretofore negligently forgotten and discharging my soul 12d also I bequeath 10s for a trental to be prayed for me my wife my father my mother all my friends and my wife's friends to be done at my wife's pleasure also I bequeath to Wm my son a seam of barley also I bequeath to Jeff my son a seam of barley also I bequeath to Agnes my daughter a seam of barley the residue of my goods I bequeath to Margt my wife paying my debts whom I make my executrix and Jn Tilwike my supervisor witness of this will Nich Garad and Jn Barbar
