of Newport Pond in the county of Essex being sick of body but of perfect mind and memory praised be god do ordain and make this my last will and testament in manner and form following utterly revoking all former wills and gifts made by me first and principally I commend my soul with its mortality into the hands of almighty god that gave it me steadfastly believing to have free remission of all my sins by and through the merits death and passion of my only saviour and redeemer christ jesus and by and through him to be partaker of eternal life and happiness and my body I commit to the earth from whence it came in hope of a blessed resurrection and concerning the disposing of all my temporal blessings as god have endued me withal I give and devise in manner and form following item I give unto
