in the name of god amen I Wm Walker of Earls Colne in the county of Essex miller do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following imprimis I give and bequeath my soul into the hands of god whom gave it and my body to the earth to be buried by my executrix herein after named expecting everlasting life through the meritorious blood and righteousness of my lord and saviour jesus christ and as to the estate god hath given me I give and bequeath as followeth item I give and bequeath unto my kinsman Jn Walker the sum of 20li of good and lawful money of Great Britain after the decease of my well beloved wife Eliz and also my best bed as it standeth with all the furniture belonging unto the same provided he shall serve my said wife but not otherwise for if my kinsman Jn Walker shall depart this life before my wife Eliz then my will is that the before bequested legacy shall be after my said wife's decease paid into the hands of Thos Pettly Jn Skingly Sam Beckworth members of the congregation of Colchester called baptists under the pastoral care of Jn Rootsey and also Thos Jenings of Colchester by them to be paid to the use of and to uphold the meeting in White Colne or thereabouts so long as any part thereof shall remain and I give and bequeath unto the poor of the aforesaid congregation in Colchester the sum of 5li one half to be paid at my death and the other half after the death of my wife Eliz and if my wife shall inter marry my will is that security be given for the payment of the abovesaid legacies but not otherwise item I give unto Mary Crow daughter of Robt Crow of Beckenham in the county of Essex 10li to be paid after my wife's decease and also the bed in the hall chamber as it stands item I give unto Eliz Hicks daughter of Nath Hicks of Colchester the sum of 5li of lawful money of Great Britain to be paid after my wife's decease and all the rest and residue of my estate whatsoever and wheresoever I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Eliz whom I nominate and ordain my sole and only executrix of this my will made this 10.4.1721 signed sealed and publicly declared by the within named Wm Walker to be his last will in our presence the day and year above mentioned mark Eliz Crow (may be Eliz Crow) Jn Roossey mark Wm Walker
