of Earls Colne in the county of Essex carpenter and victualler being sick and weak in body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be to god for the same and I do hereby make this present writing and declare it to be my last will and testament in manner and form following viz first I commend my soul into the hands of the almighty god my creator trusting in the merits of jesus christ for salvation who is my only saviour and redeemer and my body I bequeath to the earth from whence it was formed to be buried at the discretion of my executrix as herein after named item I give and bequeath unto my son
