in the name of god amen I Hannah Clarke of Earls Colne in the county of Essex spinster being weak in body but of sound mind memory and understanding praised be god for the same do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner following that is to say first I give and devise unto my sister Ann Webb the wife of Nath Webb and to her heirs forever all that my moiety or fourth part of and in all those two messuages or tenements with the yards gardens orchards lands and appurtenances thereunto belonging as the same are situate lying and being in Kelvedon in the said county of Essex and now or late in the several tenures of Robt Jolley and Sibley their or one of their assigns or assigns also I give and devise unto my said sister Ann Webb and to her heirs forever all that my moiety or half part of and in all those two messuages or tenements together with the outhouses yards gardens orchards lands and appurtenances to them or either of them belonging or appertaining as the said messuage or tenements and premises last mentioned are situate and being in Pattiswick in the said county of Essex and now or late in the several tenures or occupations of Crabb and Jas Plaistow or one of them their or one of their assign or assigns also I give and bequeath unto my brother in law Wm Foe all such sum of sums of money as shall be due from him to me at the time of my decease also I give and bequeath unto my sister Susanna Foe the wife of the said Wm Foe the sum of 5li to be paid within one month next after my decease also I give and bequeath all and singular other my goods chattels and personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever after payment of my just debts funeral charges and probate of this my will and also the said sum of 5li given by this my will to my said sister Susanna Foe as aforesaid unto my said sister Ann the wife of the said Nath Webb and I do hereby make it my request to my said sister Ann that she will give part of my wearing apparel unto my said sister Susanna Foe and lastly I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said sister Ann the wife of the said Nath Webb sole executrix of this my last will and testament in witness whereof I the said Hannah Clarke the testatrix have hereunto set my hand and seal this 5.1 2.1744 Hannah Clarke signed sealed published and declared by the said Hannah Clarke the testatrix as and for her said last will and testament in our presence and in her presence attested by us Rich Stringer Rich Stringer jun Jn Thos Baynes
