in the name of god amen I Eliz Savill of Earls Colne in the county of Essex spinster this 1.12.1764 do make this my last will and testament in manner following viz first I give and bequeath to my cousin Mary Wright and her use only my copyhold messuage or tenement with the orchard yards and gardens belonging to the same situated upon Colneford Hill and in the parish of White Colne in the said county of Essex and in the occupation of Ambrose Clarke sen or his assigns holden of the manor of Berwick Hall by copy of court roll to the said Mary Wright and her heirs forever secondly I give and bequeath to Sarah Hum daughter of Robt Hum jun of White Colne aforesaid when she arrives at the age of 21yrs all that my copyhold messuage or tenement with the orchards yards and gardens belonging to the same situate in the parish of Colne Engain and in the occupation of Abraham Prentice or his assigns called by the name of Sand Pits or any other name holden of the manor of the Hospital of Colne Engain by copy of court roll to the said Sarah Hum and her heirs forever if in case the said Sarah Hum shall die before she arrives as the age of 21yrs then to the above Mary Wright and her heirs for ever thirdly I give and bequeath to Eliz Hunt and her use only which now lives with me all those my copyhold tenement or messuage blacksmith shop orchard yards and gardens belonging to the same situated upon Colneford Hill and in my own occupation and the occupation of Sam Clarke (may be Sam Clarke) holden of the manor of Colne Priory by copy of court roll and called by the name of Agnes Bridges or any other name to the said Eliz Hunt and her heirs for ever I also give and bequeath to the said Eliz Hunt and her use only all that my freehold house divided into two tenements and now tenanted by Robt Hum jun and the other by Sam Clarke (may be Sam Clarke) with the yards gardens orchards barn and outhouses belonging to the same situate upon Colneford Hill in White Colne aforesaid to the said Eliz Hunt and her heirs forever I also give and bequeath to the said Eliz Hunt and her use only all those my two pieces of land called by the name of Jennings in White Colne aforesaid containing by estimation 4a more or less and now in the occupation of Jn Bryant of his assigns holden of the manor of Berwick Hall by copy of court roll to the said Eliz Hunt and her heirs forever I also give and bequeath to the said Eliz Hunt and her use only all my household furniture bonds bills debts ready money with all my goods and chattels whatsoever and wheresoever she first paying all my just debts and funeral charged to the said Eliz Hunt and her heirs for ever lastly I constitute and appoint Jn Simson of Lamarsh in the county of Essex gent and the abovesaid Eliz Hunt executor and executrix of this my last will and testament being contained in one sheet of paper in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above mentioned the mark of Eliz Savill signed sealed published and declared by the abovesaid Eliz Savill to be her last will and testament in the presence of us Jos Pond the mark of Jn Moss Wm Simpson
