in the name of god amen I Ann Smith of Earls Colne in the county of Essex shopkeeper being sound in mind and understanding but weak in body do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following (that is to say) I give and bequeath all my stock in trade which I shall be possessed of at the time of my decease to Susanna Walford daughter of Thos Walford of the parish of Earls Colne aforesaid cooper to and for her own use absolutely and for ever also I give and bequeath to the said Susanna Walford all my household furniture my household linen my plate together with all my wearing apparel to and for her own use absolutely and forever all the rest and residue of my estate and effects of what nature kind quality soever the same may be after payment of my just debts funeral expenses and probate of this my last will and testament I give and bequeath to the said Susanna Walford to and for her own use absolutely and for ever and I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint the said Thos Walford cooper of Earls Colne aforesaid and father of the said Susanna Walford my sole executor to this my last will and testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 8.4.1815 mark Ann Smith signed sealed published and declared by the said testatrix as and for her last will and testament in the presence of us who in her presence at her request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto Isaac Watson Jas Stutter
