in the name of god amen I Ruth Bickmore of the parish of Earls Colne in the county of Essex spinster being in good health and of sound mind memory and understanding thanks be to god for the same do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following (that is to say) I give and bequeath all my household furniture beds linen and all my wearing apparel together with all my other property of what nature kind or quality soever the same may be which I may be possessed of at the time of my decease after payment of my just debts funeral expenses and probate of this my last will and testament to my sister Cath French now the wife of Jas French of the parish of Wakes Colne in the county of Essex labourer to and for her own use absolutely and for ever and my will and desire further is that my said sister Cath French shall take and receive all and every my estate and effects which I may be possessed of at the time of my decease after the payment of my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses as above recited to and for her own use absolutely and for ever independent of her present husband Jas French and also independent of any future husband should the said Jas French die and my sister marry again as my will and desire that neither her present or any future husband shall have any control over the same and I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint mr Joseph Milnes of the parish of Earls Colne victualler sole executor of this my last will and testament and hereby revoking all former will or wills by me at any time heretofore made do declare this to be my last will and testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my had and seal this 28.2.1834 mark Ruth Bickmore signed sealed published and declared by the said testatrix Ruth Bickmore as and for her last will and testament in our presence and at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses Mary Rumbles Isaac Joslin Watson both of Earls Colne
