Hen Yeldham of Stambourne yeoman taken as above who says that the said Jn came home from the assizes held at lent was twelve months upon thursday next after the said assizes where he remained all that night and the next day following he went to Rich Walford's of Wethersfield a hunting where he was friday and saturday until near night when he came home and further this examinant says that at the request of the said Jn he went to the house of one Hawles of Chappel parish to enquire to speak with one Margery Hawles where she did confess unto him that she had not reported that her master Jn Stebbing was the father of her child but that mr Rust and her master Biggs of Felstead did wish her to say it was her said master Jn Stebbing
